Welcome to the KeepinRhythm Lab, an immersive experience designed and built by our sci-comms team in training: our own students and trainees. We invite learners at every stage of their patient care journey to explore the work and achievements of our current and former team members.
Our Mission
Turning Observations into Evidence-Based Heart Rhythm Outcomes Research
Innovate: We critically examine our daily clinical practices, looking for gaps in knowledge to fuel hypotheses that advance the care of heart rhythm pathologies- generating real-world evidence that informs the clinical trials of tomorrow.
Inspire & Mentor: We create research opportunities and provide personalized mentorship to inquiring minds at different stages of their training who are dedicated to the practice of clinical medicine. Here, research serves as the conduit for continuous mentorship. Team members seamlessly fluctuate between mentor and mentee, creating a uniquely unified atmosphere of collaboration.
Advance Care: Quality is research, and research is quality. We have built the digital infrastructure to harness the power of longitudinal follow-up throughout our large health system to answer clinical questions, evaluate current practices, and compare outcomes against national guidelines.
Who We Are
Clinicians Catalyzing Real-World Evidence to Transform Heart Rhythm Care
We are a team of clinicians at Lenox Hill Hospital (New York, NY), operating within Northwell Health, driven by a passion for research ignited by academic and clinical curiosity. As clinicians delivering care every day, we are constantly faced with questions that demand answers. This has driven us to build the research infrastructure to address the challenges we encounter in daily practice, partnering with like-minded colleagues to advance care for patients with heart rhythm disorders. Our research is enhanced by our collaborations across Northwell Health Cardiovascular Institute, Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra, and Katz Institute for Women’s Health.
